We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and accepting the gospel according to Romans 10: 9-10.
We believe that the regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ, on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.
Miracle Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C. is a ministry which was hewn out of the fires of consistent "FAITH" in God, as well as, "OBEDIENCE" to the Word of God.
To continue the mission of Jesus Christ to seek and save the lost (Matthew 28: 19-20), to nurture the believer resulting in strong followers of Christ and to guide/equip the members of this body in discovering their place in ministry that they may ultimately continue the Great Commission in Detroit and throughout the world.
What a joy it is to introduce you to our church! You'll discover that our passion is to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with God.
To accomplish this we focus our worship, our preaching, our teaching, our fellowship and church outreach toward saving, nurturing, guiding and equipping our members to achieve their full potential in living by faith, walking in obedience and continuing the Great Commission.
The primary vision behind the Christian faith can be simplified down to the following statement; "to KNOW Jesus and to make Jesus KNOWN." Knowing Jesus and Making Jesus Known, that’s really what our Christian faith is all about.
The verse that has inspired the first part of this this saying "to KNOW JESUS and to make Him Known", is found in Philippians 3:10, which illustrates the apostle Paul’s heart for wanting to know Jesus more and more through pressing on daily in his relationship with Him.
Paul tells us in Philippians 3:10, “that I may KNOW Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death." This was Paul’s greatest desire in life, to become more like Jesus... by being conformed into His image, and the only way that this could take place was if he continued growing in his relationship with Jesus.
In fact, Paul would continue on in Philippians 3, by saying, “Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me His own."
Here we read that Paul confesses to us that he is not perfect, he is still a work in process, but even though he has not arrived yet spiritually (like every single one of us, except for Jesus) Paul presses on to “make it his own".
